Summer Reading with Pauline Kids
Posted by Brittany on May 14, 2013 13:17 Article Rating

It’s that time of year—classes are winding down; kids are staring not at the lessons on their desks but at the beckoning sunshine outside the window. Spring turning into summer. It’s also the time of year when schools send out their summer reading lists. Pauline Kids and Pauline Teen are no different. We are about to release our THIRD list, which is chock full of fun and faith-filled titles, including brand new books and fiction for young teens!

Now, if your child’s school-designated reading recommendations are often forgotten amid the beach balls, baseball gloves, camp gear, and road trip survival kit, why add more to the pile? Because Pauline Summer Reading is 100% Catholic. Generally, the point of school reading lists is to get kids to read books that teachers feel have literary value and reinforce student’s skills. In addition to doing what teacher’s want, the books on Pauline’s list have spiritual value and reinforce children’s faith formation.

And best of all, your kids and teens will get a well-rounded reading experience. They will enjoy our interesting saints biographies, engaging faith foundations, well-illustrated books that make the Scriptures come alive, and great stories in our novels. Our books encourage children and teens to fully engage their faith by affirming who they are here and now, and inspiring them to recognize who they are called to become.
